Leadership
Prof. Dr. Korbinian Schneeberger
Korbinian was born in the Bavarian city of Munich. He heads the team with labs in Cologne and Düsseldorf, leading research in plant genomics and computational genetics — from pan-genomes to centromere evolution.
Monika Langwald
Originally from Germany, Monika is an industrial clerk who keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. With her organizational talent and hands-on support, she creates the space that allows everyone else to focus on the research.
